The Hunt For A Map that Doesn't Look Like My GPS

I would love to find someone to hand-draw a map for me. I love this one, from Shane Santi Photography via the Knot.

BUT I'm in DIY mode. So I am attempting to create my own instead on Wedding Mapper, where you can create a free wedding map, include icons, etc. There are instructions for "DIY" so that the map doesn't look like the GPS system in your car, but I'm a little hesitant this is going to work out. Every map I've seen on there looks like one of those super high tech "geographical" maps, which I think would clash a bit with the "old" look I'm going for. I'll post when I'm done trying to figure this out.
