Letters from Michaels: $1/piece. You can also get these from Hobby Lobby but I liked Michael's selection better.
Red paint from Michaels: $.79 or so
Dowels from Michaels (stick pieces): $2 or so for all
Wooden blocks to attach dowels to: free (FI made them from scrap wood)

How to Do:
Drill a hole in the bottom of the wooden letter. Create a "base" from scrap wood and drill a hole in there also. Attach rod piece. Viola! Really easy project. Then paint or decorate as desired!
